In 2018 I sold all of my belongings, packed my backpack, and booked a one way ticket to India on a mission to “heal myself to heal the world.” My deeper intention was to face my past head-on as I flew into the jungle of Mother India, the one who calls in the souls of those who search for a Kali-infused rebirth of the soul through deep destruction of inner shadows and demons that hold us back from the light. So, in I went. And as She beckoned my call, I answered, leaving everything I knew behind me, not knowing when I would return to my loved ones back home.

Jumping from new friend to new friend all around the country, I ran into Boris. Boris is a Russian filmmaker and travel guide whom I met at a traveller’s hostel in the hills of Dharmashala. The first day we met, we rented a motorcycle and drove up the foothills of the Himalayas. Above is a video of the account we made simply using my iPhone and a small stabilizer.
